Why We Chose DARA Institute
Last year, we had the opportunity to visit DARA Institute through the Philanthropics consultancy, and we had the great pleasure of meeting Vera Cordeiro and her team.
DARA is internationally recognized for its award-winning poverty alleviation methodology: the PAF (Family Action Plan). This personalized approach works closely with each family, addressing health, education, housing, citizenship and income generation simultaneously. The PAF has received numerous awards and has become a leading case study, implemented in several cities across Brazil and in other countries, proving that it is possible to break the cycle of poverty.
